SolidQ University delivers classes in different formats, trying to adjust to the needs of our customers

The Online Class
The classes are delivered live online through Microsoft LiveMeeting, based on our own SolidQ Microsoft Office Communication Servers.
There's much more than slides in these presentations. Our trainer's practical experience in the field, makes these presentations very reach in relevant examples, as well as providing full interaction between the trainer and the professionals attending the class, as well as interaction among attendees as well.
The trainer will show demos as relevant, and in some cases could lead play-along practice exercises as well
Trainers and attendees can share documents and applications live, contributing to the learning experience.
Thanks to the multimedia capabilities of Office Communications Server, these sessions can effectively host debates as well as Q&A sessions.
The Virtual Faculty Office
As in any university, our trainers will be available at their virtual office at specific scheduled times for personal Q&A sessions.
Apart from these scheduled sessions, each trainer might be available in his virtual office during other times, you would need just to "nock on the door" and chat with her through Office Communicator or LiveMeeting
The Virtual Meeting Room
Each class will have a specific virtual meeting room available for group study and discussions. This can facilitate knowledge sharing. Trainers and SolidQ mentors might visit these meeting rooms from time to time and participate in the discussions.
All rich capabilities of LiveMeeting will be available, from white boarding, application sharing, video and voice communication and so on.
The Virtual Workspace Stuff
Each class will have a private area where students will be able to get access to shared information and resources, such as document libraries, discussion groups, links to useful resources, homework submission areas, calendar of events, news and so on.

Today's internet is just another mechanism to enable communication between peers, and not just a simple mechanism to distribute information.
The SolidQ University has specific twitter feeds (private and public) to provide instant communication between its members.

The Virtual Labs
To make it easier for our students to work on the labs and exercises, without installing software in their computers, The SolidQ University provides virtual labs, hosted remotely in powerful servers, which are accessed simply through a web browser.
Some courses require a single virtual machine to perform all exercises, while other courses require a collection of virtual machines to complete the labs (such as some high availability scenarios)
The description of each course will explain the different modalities for the virtual labs available for that particular course.
