Solid Quality Mentors is pleased to announce that Erik Veerman is bringing his balance of technology expertise, solution architecture skills, and business savvy to his new position as Director of Business Intelligence for SolidQ USA.

 

“Erik joined Solid Quality Learning, as it was known at the time, in February 2005 and has been one of the most dedicated and valuable contributors in building our world-class Business Intelligence practice,” says Douglas McDowell, CEO, North America. “It is a great honor to have Erik step up into a formal leadership role for BI.”

 

Erik has been recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for his industry contributions and has won Worldwide BI Solution of the Year and Success Story of the Year awards. He’s a prolific author, recently coauthoring Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services: Problem, Design, Solution and Professional Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services, both from Wrox. He is also the lead author for the Microsoft Press SQL Server BI training kits, has been involved in Microsoft’s Fast Track initiative, and is currently contributing to Microsoft’s toolkit for best practices on SQL Server-based data warehousing.
